my services
Handle replacement
I take tools/implements that have broken handles and replace those handles with new items of your selection or current availability.
Sharpening
I take any edged implement that requires only sharpening and sharpen it to meet your needs.
Expert advice
I provide expert advice on all edge geometry based on the normal use of that edged item.
my unique approaCh
A newer and easier way to address axe halfting.
My innovation is a simpler and more convenient method for attaching an axe head to a handle, known as halfting. With this process, you can perform a handle changeout on-the-go without having to go back to your workspace. By utilizing this new process, the tool is much safer as the fixation method ensures that the head and handle will not come loose over time.

Shipping with care
How to ship your tool to me.
I am based out of Edmonton, Alberta but it is easy to send me your axes, mauls, sledgehammers, knives and swords from anywhere in the world.
➊
Broken handles should be cut off of the head of the implement.
➋
The head should be wrapped as tightly as possible with newspaper and taped with duct tape to prevent damaging the item.
➍
Knives should be placed in the original sheath if available and packaged per above noted method.
➌
Bubble wrap should then be wrapped around the head tightly and the item placed in a box small enough to restrict movement during shipping.
