Q: Do you use power tools to sharpen any edge?
Yes I use a belt Grinder, Nexus N3, to either establish or correct a profile and to obtain the desired grind. I then use a bench polisher to fine tune the edge itself. On occasion I may have to use a guided rod system to correct a small imperfection on an item that has come in. On smaller items and heat sensitive items I do use the guided rod system with both diamond and natural stones and then complete the edge using the strop
Q: Do you use harmful chemicals in your process of rejuvenating the items sent to you?
No I do not use harmful chemicals at any point of my process to rejuvenate your item.
Q: What product do you use to treat the handles you hang the heads on?
I have been using Boiled Linseed Oil to treat all of my handles. I normally put 3 or 4 coats on the handles. Should you have a preferred product for this process step, I would certainly entertain using that product should it be available to me.
